Third-Party Provider Terms
Effective Date: May 5, 2025
Website: https://mazalacloud.com
Entity: Operated by Mazala Limited, Hong Kong
1. Overview
Mazala Cloud, a service division of Mazala Limited (Hong Kong), integrates and resells services from a range of global infrastructure providers, including but not limited to:
- ICANN-accredited domain registrars
- SSL certificate authorities (CAs)
- Cloud hosting networks and data center operators
- DNS and CDN platforms
- API-based software tools and provisioning layers
These Third-Party Provider Terms (“Terms”) explain your relationship with such providers and outline the limitations of Mazala Cloud’s responsibilities regarding third-party services.
2. Third-Party Relationships
When you purchase a service through Mazala Cloud, some functions (e.g., domain registration, SSL issuance, server provisioning) may be fulfilled by external vendors operating under their own licensing, legal jurisdictions, and service policies.
By using Mazala Cloud’s platform, you also agree to be bound by the applicable terms and policies of those third-party providers.
Examples include:
- Domain rules set by OpenSRS, NameSilo, or other registrars
- SSL validation policies defined by Let’s Encrypt or Sectigo
- Hosting uptime conditions defined by upstream IaaS partners
3. Provider Liability & Service Boundaries
Mazala Cloud:
- Acts as a technical intermediary, not the final service authority in many cases
- Does not control the uptime, performance, or ultimate service decisions of third-party vendors
- Is not liable for outages, validation rejections, or platform restrictions imposed by third parties
Service issues caused by third-party systems will be escalated according to their internal support channels and SLA frameworks. Mazala Cloud will provide reasonable support but does not guarantee resolution timelines beyond its own control.
4. Terms of Use and Changes
Each provider’s terms may include, but are not limited to:
- Usage restrictions and fair use policies
- Verification or KYC requirements for domain or SSL issuance
- Renewal schedules and expiration notice rules
- Data residency or jurisdictional restrictions
- Limitations on transfer or cancellation rights
Providers may amend their terms or pricing without notice. Mazala Cloud will update customers of significant changes when required but is not responsible for external contract updates that affect your service indirectly.
5. Service Continuity & Replacement
Mazala Cloud reserves the right to:
- Replace one third-party provider with another based on performance or availability
- Migrate services to alternative platforms with comparable or improved functionality
- Adjust integration pathways or system endpoints to maintain continuity
Users may be required to accept new terms or confirm configurations in such cases. Refusal to comply may result in suspended or downgraded service availability.
6. Support Limitations
Mazala Cloud will:
- Assist with the initial provisioning and configuration of third-party services
- Relay communications and escalate technical issues when needed
- Provide first-line support for most client-visible errors or malfunctions
However, we cannot guarantee:
- Response or resolution times from third-party providers
- Refunds or SLA credits unless passed through from the original provider
- Changes to policies outside our operational scope
7. Data Handling and Privacy
Certain third-party providers may process your personal information (e.g., WHOIS data, certificate issuance, hosting logs) under their own privacy and data handling frameworks.
Mazala Cloud will ensure:
- Vendors are vetted for compliance with GDPR-equivalent standards where applicable
- No third-party provider is granted data access beyond the necessary operational scope
- Data sharing is limited strictly to service enablement, not marketing or resale
8. Jurisdictional Notes
Services delivered through non-Hong Kong providers may be subject to foreign law, compliance obligations, or restrictions, especially in regulated sectors such as:
- DNS record control (e.g., U.S.-based registries)
- Certificate issuance in embargoed or sanctioned regions
- Hosting data localization in countries with strict data sovereignty rules
Clients are responsible for ensuring that their use case is compliant with both Hong Kong law and the third party’s jurisdiction.
